Since 1996, the IR-DSU has brought together local experts in social and urban cohesion; it’s a network cross-fertilization of knowledge promoting the exchange of experiences between its members. It allows the construction continuous collective expertise as well as the production of tools to improve the practices in urban social development and more broadly in urban social cohesion. The IR-DSU is a national network whose members work in very diverse territories: Areas of 10,000 inhabitants with a popular district located on the outskirts or in old center like; Major cities: Aix Marseille Provence Metropolis, Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, Bordeaux Metropolis. This diversity makes it possible to mobilize within the framework of a mobility and partnership program the territories best suited to the expectations of partners.

“Karavan Development of Human Resources and Youth Association, established in 2016, is a research and innovation-linked NGO dedicated to the ‘Digital, Green, and SMART’ development of society. It particularly supports the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Continuous Professional Activities (CPAs) of educators in Youth Centres, Adult Education Centres, VET schools, and local schools, spanning from pre-primary to secondary levels.
Recognized both nationally and internationally, the association is celebrated for its commitment and leadership in enhancing Digital and Green environmental awareness through immersive environments, such as VR, AR, XR, VF, and AI. These technologies are integral to its comprehensive CPD offerings for the whole-school, adult, VET, SME, and NGO communities.
